Description

This vanilla bundt cake is chock full of chocolate chips, is delicious with a cup of coffee in the morning and makes a very happy ending to any meal.

Ingredients

Cake: (1) 13.25 oz box yellow cake mix (1) 3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding ½ cup vegetable oil ½ cup water 1 cup sour cream 4 eggs 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract 1 cup mini chocolate chips Butter Glaze: (optional) 3 tablespoons butter, melted 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 3-5 tablespoons water

Instructions

Generously grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt Pan, Preheat oven to 350 F In a large bowl add the box cake mix and the instant pudding, whisking to incorporate. In a small bowl dust the chips with a teaspoon of the dry mix and set a side. Add the rest of the ingredients to the dry mix, using an electric mixer mix on low to moisten ( about 1 minute) then beat on medium for 2 minutes. Add chips and fold until evenly distributed. Pour into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then turn out onto the wire rack and cool completely. Lightly sprinkle powdered sugar over the top or top with the butter glaze and enjoy. Butter glaze: Add the powdered sugar to a medium sized bowl, add the melted butt, 3 tablespoons water and the vanilla. Mix until smooth (If needed add additional water until desired consistency). Drizel over cooled cake.
