Description

This savory tomato pie is delicious severed hot or cold.

Ingredients

4-5 large Ripe Tomatoes ½ cup fresh Basil Leaves ¼ cup Green Onion (Scallion) 6-8 sliced of cooked Bacon ½ teaspoon Granulated Garlic 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano 2 cups Cheddar Cheese ½ cup of your favorite Mayo

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees In alternating layers fill pie crust shell with tomatoes, Basil and bacon, combine your dried spices and evenly sprinkle over each layer. Combine shredded cheddar cheese, mayo and spread evenly over top of pie. Loosely cover with aluminon foil. Baked on center rack for 30 minutes, remove foil and baked for an additional 30 minutes.
