Ravioli Lasagna aka Ravioli Bake is quick, easy and a delicious family dinner.

Ingredients

24 ounce (1.5 pound) bag of frozen cheese Ravioli 4-5 cups pasta sauce (32 ounce jar) 1 pound lean ground beef 15 ounce tub of Ricotta cheese 2 cups Mozzarella cheese ½ cup Parmesan cheese 1 egg 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt ½ teaspoon black pepper 1 rounded teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions

Preheated oven to 350 degrees F Add the ground beef to a large pot (Season with salt & pepper to taste) on medium high heat and brown. Add pasta sauce and heat through. In a medium size bowl add the Ricotta, egg, salt & pepper, Italian Seasoning and mix to combine. Coat the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish ½ cup of the pasta sauce. Arrange half of the frozen Ravioli in a single layer over the pasta sauce, then add a tablespoon of the Ricotta onto each Ravioli (Spread over Ravioli as best you can). Top with half of the Mozzarella (1 cup) and Parmesan, cover with half of the remaining pasta sauce. Repeat (Reserving the Parmesan) for 1 more layer, sprinkle the remaining Parmesan over the top. Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes, uncover and bake till brown, 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and serve.

Additional Comments

Use any type of frozen Ravioli you desire. If you use beef stuffed ravioli, skip the ground beef if desired. For a vegetarian option use spinach Ravioli.
