This pulled pork recipe is a family favorite, its tender and juicy and the best part is it is made in a Slow Cooker with minimal fuss and mess.

1 cup Vegetable Broth½ cup Apple Juice4 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke1 Medium Onion, rough chopped1 Medium Carrot, rough chopped3 Celery Stalks, rough chopped4 Garlic Gloves, rough choppedDry rub:2 tablespoons Paprika1 teaspoon Ground Ginger1 teaspoon Ground Cumin1 Tablespoon Kosher Salt1 Tablespoon Black Pepper3 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
Instructions
In necessary trim any excess fat off the outside of the pork shoulder. In a large bowl combine all the dry bug ingredients. Sprinkle all sides of the pork with the dry rub and rum into the meat with your fingers and the meat is evenly coated.Add coated pork shoulder to crock pot, spread onion, carrot, celery and garlic alone the sides. Pour veg broth, apple juice and liquid smoke over pork. In a 5 quart or larger crock pot cook on low for 7-9 hours.Remove pork shoulder from crock pot to large platter or bowl, remove bone and using 2 forks pull pork into shreds. Pour cooking liquid over shredded pork and mix well.
