Description
Pineapple Upside Down Cake is a classic American dessert with a soft sponge cake,
caramelized pineapples and cherries.
Ingredients
⅓ cup better
½ cup brown sugar
7 canned pineapple rings
7 Maraschino Cherries
10-12 Pecan halves
1 cup cake flour such as (Softassilk). You can use all-purpose flour but cake flour will give
you a softer crumb.
2 large eggs, room temp
⅔ cup sugar sugar
6 tablespoon of pineapple juice (from the can of pineapple slices).
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon salt
