Description

Garlic bread or as it is known in Italy as Bruschette.

Ingredients

1 loaf Ciabatta Bread 3 tablespoons Parmigiano Reggiano 3 cloves garlic ¼ cup chopped Italian parsley cup extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons olive oil (To brush bread with)

Instructions

Pre-heated oven to 325 F Cut bread in half lengthwise Crush, or blend garlic and add to a bowl, add olive oil and stir well. Add parsley and parmigiano cheese and mix well. Lightly olive oil on each half or the bread. Evenly spread olive oil, mix over each half of the bread. Place bread in the oven and bake for ten minutes. Then broil for 2-3 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Serves

8-12

Additional Information

Slice into desired size slices and top with diced tomatoes and a dash or two of Balsamic vinegar for a delicious appetizer.
