Description

There was a time that you could not buy ready made Chex Party Mix, you had to make it yourself. This is the way my Mom made it from a recipe she got off a box of Corn Chex. Now you can purchase Chex Party Mix in lots of different varieties but the original recipe had very humble beginnings.

Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter or margarine 4 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce 1 teaspoon seasoning salt 2 cups Corn Chex 2 Cups Rice Chex 2 cups Wheat Chex ¾ salted nuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees Melt butter and add to a large bowl, add seasoning salt and Worcestershire Sauce. Add Corn, Rice, Wheat chex and nuts and mix till all pieces are coated. Bake for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. Spread over an absorbent towel and allow to cool.

Serves
